Finished in aged/brushed/polished brass our gold bath taps add a touch of elegance to any bathroom. If you’re looking for more of a modern touch to your bathroom the black/brushed/silver nickel, brushed chrome, or chrome plate options will be more to your taste.

We offer tap heads including The Solheim, La Fontaine, La Loire, and The English. The Solheim Lever is suitable for modern and rough luxe settings. The La Loire tap head features a distinctive French 19th-century appearance with drooped handles and crackle-glazed ceramic indices. The text on the indices showcases ‘Chaud’ and’ Froid’, French for hot and cold.

The English tap head is perfect if you’re looking to style Edwardian bath taps. Designed with classic capstan hand wheels, featuring crackle-glazed ceramic indices for an authentically aged appearance. The writing on the indices comes with the traditional ‘hot’ and ‘cold.

FAQs

How can I be sure that taps and fittings are suitable for use?

It is best to purchase products that are certified for use in The UK. Taps that have been certified by an authority under the Water Regulation Approval Scheme are best. All of our taps and showers are WRAS certified.

I have used a bath shower mixer on standpipes before and it was unstable. How can I prevent this from happening?

We manufacture a dedicated floor-plate from solid brass that ensures your taps will not wobble and also facilitates an easier installation.

How are taps actually made?

Taps are manufactured from brass. Some parts are cast in a foundry, other parts are machined and pieces like spouts can be made from pipe. These are all hand polished and then electroplated in their final finish.

Can I use a mixer tap for an overhead shower?

This is certainly possible but it will not be thermostatically controlled. You will only be able to adjust the temperature manually and there will not be an anti-scald cut out fitted. So it is not ideal.

What is the most durable finish for taps?

Chrome is the hardest finish applied to taps and is most resistant to heavy cleaners and limescale.
