Owing to its status of being classed as a ‘site of special interest’ this residential project in Jersey had to be monitored throughout, with many of the existing features preserved.
The design brief was that it had to be traditional, with each room having its own theme. Being Scottish, the owner wanted a tartan room to blend in with a lot of purple ( her favourite colour) together with bold black and whites. The downstairs suite is a striking example of this. For the bathrooms and ensuites, Catchpole and Ryes’ selection of exquisite pieces were a perfect blend between tradition and style. “The mirrored cloakroom with the bespoke Catchpole and Rye ‘Kinross Basin’ is my favourite” – Sian Parry Jones, Interior Designer.
